Day 12 of Tour 3

Meeting Relatives in Broadford

There was time before the first meeting to listen to most of the program about the Conservatoire linked to in yesterday’s page. Coffee from Skye Pantry was to my taste and enjoyed during a fruitful meeting with a cousin’s son. I learned about his first electric guitars and of his website on the subject.

The Misty Isle business is looking promising for the future with one of the clan training to be a mechanic and another keen to join the staff when he is older.

The very recent addition to the clan is healthy and is being enthusiastically welcomed by her sister. The baby’s mother is responding well to a simple treatment but the few early visits to see the new arrival are short to allow a quick complete recovery.

Before my second visit to cousin Fiona a very tasty vegetarian takeaway lunch from Gasta was eaten on one of their picnic tables in view of Broadford Bay which was looking especially fine in the sunshine. With Fiona as with communications with family there can be private sharing of lots of information that would be totally unsuitable for a website.

There was also time today to find a way of hearing clips of Mathylde’s singing on yesterday’s page.
