Day 11 of Lap 3

Trip to Tomatin from East Daviot

Part 1
Have just finished tasty, healthy and filling lunch at what is known locally as The Three Bridges Cafe in Tomatin. Looking down the valley from this seat two of the bridges are prominent. The nearer supports the occasional train and the other has a constant stream of traffic in both directions on the A9.

At 8.2 miles from the campsite this cafe and the adjoining shop are not the nearest to the campsite but the route is much less hilly and, particularly when the A9 roadworks are finished, preferable to those in the Inverness direction for most cyclists. Do check the opening and last orders times. This photo taken today is of a poster on the door.

Part 2
Easy cycle back although still, with the wind to contend with, over 600 active calories today. Not feeling tired so good progress with giving each Lap 3 day its own page. All done in code mode rather than let WordPress indicate that it cannot insert a link. Navigation buttons at foot of each page in code adapted from ones that were inserted using WordPress on Windows on my laptop.
